1st Annual LIV Block Party
Sunday, May 2nd, 2021, 12pm at Picnic Shelter Lawn Area
Come one come all!!!
Summer kickoff party held in the grassy area by the activity center will include all the outdoor activities including pickleball, horseshoes, mini golf, shuffleboard, corn hole, and anything we can think to do. We will also be serving fried fish, onion rings, and pork sandwiches for those that don't like fish. Everyone is invited to help us start the summer of right. Costumes are not required but feel free to dress up in some athletic gear to intimidate your opponents.
Sign up early if you plan to play pickleball as we need to know how many extra paddles we will need. There will be lessons given if you would like to know how to play.

Be sure to bring your outdoor games, like corn hole, ladder ball, yard darts, and whatever your family enjoys. Also, bring putters for the put put course and horseshoes for the pits.

Memorial Day Golf Cart Parade
Sunday, May 30th, 2021, 2pm to 4pm at Recreation Center
MAY 30TH - 2PM for the parade, approximately 3 pm for potluck.
We will line up at the recreation center and follow the leader (Ed McBride) through our beautiful village and wind up back behind the recreation center at the patio with the grill going for a community picnic. Hosted by Kay Mikes Lot #189
We have asked for donations for hamburgers, hot dogs and all the fixings. At the bottom on this post I will list the donations we have so far.
There are a few tables and chairs there for us but if you have folding chairs, we may need some, depending on how many people participate.
You'll want to bring drinks and a side dish to share with your neighbors. Remember, the 19th hole is just across the parking lot and has $2 beer, wine and seltzers. If you haven't been up there, it's a great place to get to know your neighbors.
Start planning your decorations, music, signs, and flags. Dollar Tree is a great resource for these items.
We'll have a moment of silence remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Our celebration is in no way intended to lessen our humble appreciation.
Remember, those unable to parade are encouraged to sit out and wave, toss out candy, or pass out shots.
Hot dogs (JoDee and Fritz)
Buns (Robbie)
Paper products (Johnny and Amanda)
Condiments (anonymously donated)
Burger patties (Rachel and Gene)
$20 cash towards whatever we need (Rick)
Chips
