Our Sanctuary

Here at Long Island Village we are favored with some of the
most rare and exotic birds on the continent -- maybe even in the world!
In a single morning, our golf shop manager counted 18 different species
of birds in or near the pond adjacent to the 9th green.  The area just
South of our resort, designated as wetlands, is frequented by many rare
species, providing innumerable viewing and photo opportunities.
