Early this afternoon 6/28/10 the Coast of South Texas, including LIV, was put under a Hurricane Watch until Thursday. This means that it is possible that we will be in the path of Tropical Storm Alex. They expect Alex to turn into a hurricane before landfall.

Long Island Village recommends voluntary "early evacuation" to help alleveliate traffic congestion.

Owners and renters are asked to evacuate all high profile vehicles at this time.
