A new Hurricane Preparation and Safety Committee has recently been established in LIV.  The Committee agrees that preparing for a disaster is the most important step we can take in avoiding loss & tragedy.

We have been working with County & PI City Emergency Management teams and have develope a timeline with them for evacuation.

We hope to help current residents prepare for a storm disaster  and also to help residents with "special needs" make arrangements to evacuate should it become necessary.

Monday, June 28, 2010 at 8:30 a.m..The National Weather Service "has not" issued a Hurricane Watch or Warning although Tropical Storm Alex has entered the Gulf of Mexico. We will keep you posted.
