Our Village is coming to life again in a grand way. Cars, trailers, fifth wheels and such are all bumper to bumper entering and preparing ready for the BIG Holiday week-end. The “Cook Off” that was originally scheduled for today (July 3rd), has been postponed until July 17th giving everyone a chance to catch their breath so we can truly enjoy a wonderful event.
Our pools are all open, water has been restored to those who had problems, and the grounds crew has done a phenomenal job of gathering all the debris that was left behind.
SPI reports that all of their public beaches are open and ready for visitors.
A note of caution: to those of you who are up north, it would be wise to have someone check your house to see that the air conditioning unit is still working. Due to the wind and driving rain, many returned to find that the starting capacitors had shorted out therefore no AC.
Homes that may need attention:
· Lots 396, 609, & 647 lost a substantial amount of skirting. We picked up what we could find at each place and slid it under the unit.
· Lot 649 has lost some siding
· Lot 617 lost some fascia
· The covers have blown off of cars or golf carts on 869, 571 & 363 and L
We will continue to watch for damage as we run around the village & will report anything else we come across.
In addition to the above information, Rick Horner, GM and Armando Zamora, F M, will be completing a park wide analysis early in the week followed by mailings to anyone who has damage that’s needs attention.
